A Grand Day Out
A Grand Day Out is a trip out that doesn't fit into any of the other groups' activities. It is not a regular group, but something that the organisers think of, or someone else suggests – an informal day outing to some easily accessible regional attraction. So if you have a suggestion, you can organise it, or we'll try it out.
This is a newly formed group. The trips are open to all members to take part in. The first outing was a trip on the Settle to Carlisle railway. We have also visited the Barbara Hepworth Museum in Wakefield, and the Hull waterfront (including The Deep).
Next Grand Day Out, Wednesday 29 February
