Book Group

The Book Group meets at Leeds Central Library (top floor meting room – lift available) on the first Thursday of the month, 2.00–3.00pm. The Library suggests a book for us to discuss each month, and keeps sufficient copies for U3A Book Group members. Please ask at the desk, to borrow the current month's book.

"A Dickens of a time."

To celebrate the bicentenary of Charles Dickens's birth, the group are going to have a Dickens of a time by reading any one of his stories focusing on 1. his portrayal of women or 2. their favourite character in the story.
